Photography is my passion and is a huge part of my day to day life.
I love all of the different genres of photography and I don’t really have a favourite. Of course nothing beats the intensity and magic of a wedding day. From the pre wedding preparation early in the morning to the first dance and party atmosphere that follows. There is no denying that photographing a wedding is extremely demanding, but with the pressure also comes the pleasure of capturing a milestone like no other.

One of my other personal favourite genres is Boudoir photography. In this busy society where women are now juggling so many roles it’s all too easy for us to lose sight of our femininity and sensuality. Boudoir photoshoots are a terrific way to reinforce our sense of self and remind ourselves that we aren’t just wife, mother, daughter and provider.


Portrait shoots were once considered a luxury item in the domestic market. Child portraits being restricted to the annual stiff sitting supplied by schools, adult portraits being considered only for business professionals and wannabe models. Afterall…everyone has a digital camera and can take a good snap can’t they?
With an increasing online personal presence and a general change in social behaviour it’s becoming more and more important to portray yourself in your best light(I make no apology for the pun)…both in business, dating and social networking. Portrait sessions are therefore increasing in popularity and photographers are making efforts to make a professional sitting more affordable and accessible to all.
